Bistro Nanu in Borna

We got lunch in Corona times. It tasted very good, the agreed time was kept, very nice service.

Really good. Only collection possible at the moment. Are very satisfied.

Very nice and always happy

Very delicious food ... We visited Borna in early October. Wanted to eat home cooked food. The food was plentiful, tasty and well priced. The service was courteous and friendly. Ambience handsome and clean. Unfortunately no EC payment is possible, but no problem for us, as the Sparkasse is right on the market. We can only recommend it.

Food was good. Unfortunately the staff is a bit slow! Weather was nice. We sat in the beer garden. We're going back at another time of year.

Nanu, what's going on, wanted to have a bite to eat on the way home from Berlin, so we thought of Nanu. Were there a year ago on the recommendation of a nurse from Borna and we liked it very much and tasted it. When we arrived shortly before 8 p.m. the waiter was having a lot of fun on the phone but noticed us after a while and we were allowed to choose a seat inside or outside. The space inside said to us and we studied the menu ..... 1x ...... 2x ..... 3x and hoped that we can at least order something to drink first. The waiter couldn't be far since we heard him but he must have forgotten us. We waited what felt like an eternity then it was enough for us and we left the restaurant thirsty and hungry. At a table outside the entrance we saw the waiter who was chatting with the guests. Then we also "promised" each other and said goodbye, don't think that it will happen again anytime soon. Some guests are "king" and are even entertained and others do not even get something to drink, a shame.

Nice ambience, cozy style, Unfortunately it does not seem to be necessary to serve carefully with larger groups (approx. 20 people). Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me. Fried potatoes absolutely unseasoned, mushrooms a la creme tasted like flour, schnitzel was lukewarm. Getting drinks late at night seemed to be a matter of luck, as the service staff prefer to hold on to the counter. Too bad. The location was very promising. I hope that the eventual next visit will not be such a failure.

My partner and I had dinner here for the first time on Sunday. We liked the location very much, very comfortably and modernly furnished, an inviting terrace with well-kept outdoor area caught our attention positively. We sat there too. The food was plentiful and the value for money reasonable. It also tasted great. Unfortunately, the service employee seems to have adapted his mood and commitment to his guests to the wonderful rainy weather. You could hope in vain for a smile and friendliness thanks to the non-existent sun. We were not asked whether everything was okay, nor whether we had anything else to do. We then asked for the bill, which was followed by the following quote from the friendly employee: “Can we do this inside? I can't get out in the rain ”. Such comments should be avoided in the future. The alcohol-free cocktail that I ordered was also presented very carelessly. The sportsmen, which should consist of 4 exotic fruits, had a rather flaky consistency when it was served, so it seems to have snowed behind the counter, because cream was not shown. In this regard, it would be advisable to better identify the ingredients and to adjust the prices; more than 5 € for an average presentation is inappropriate here. In sunny weather we will definitely consider stopping by here again, as both the ice cream and the menu are very appealing. Then the employee should also be in a good mood.

You feel like in the good old days. tasty home-style cooking and polite good and friendly service at all times (always with a smile on your face and a few nice words if sometimes stressful) if I could I would like to give a few more stars. a visit is definitely worth it !!

It was our second time eating here. For lunch and dinner. We want to praise the cook. Super fresh and best quality. Keep it up. Not to forget the friendly service staff. We would love to come back.
